Kaafiron se sawaal kiya jaaye ke zindagi ka maqsad kya hai to aam taur se jawaab nahi milega kiunki is ke mutalliq un ke paas koi sooch nahi hogi lekin un mein se aksar yeh jawaab bhi denge ke zindagi ka maqsad mauj, masti aur aish karna hai. Isi liye kaafiron ki mehnat o koshish khaane peene aur dunyawi zindagi behtar se behtar banaane ki fikr tak mehdood hoti hai. Un ke liye jannat yahi duniya hai is dunyawi jannat mein woh magan aur aakhirat ki fikr se na-balad (anjaan) hain.

Aaj aksar musalmaanon ne bhi kaafiron ki dekha dekhi isi baat ko apna maqsad e zindagi (zindagi ka maqsad) bana liya hai yani khana peena, pet ki khaatir zindagi guzaarna, halaal o haraam ka farq kiye baghair us ke liye kuch bhi kar guzarna jabki duniya ki ghiza se kabhi aasoodgi nahi mili. Agar mili bhi to waqti taur par. Phir baar baar ki bhook aur piyaas ne nadaan musalmaan ko Rabb se mulaqaat, aakhirat ki tayyaari aur duniya ko daar ul imtihaan (imtihaan ka ghar) samajhne se ghaafil kar diya. Khana zindagi ka maqsad nahi balki insaani jism ki zaroorat aur sehat ki baqa ke liye hai. Maqsad e zindagi (zindagi ka maqsad) to sirf ek Allah ki ibadat hai yani Allah ke ahkaam ke mutabiq zindagi guzaarna insaani takhleeq ka ain maqsad hai. Agar koi sehat ki zaroorat poori karne ke liye jaaiz tareeqe se rozi kamaata hai aur apne ahl o ayaal ki parwarish karta hai to yeh bhi ibadat mein daakhil hai aur taqarrub e ilaahi (Allah ke taqarrub) ka sabab hai lekin na-jaaiz tareeqe se kiya huwa koi bhi kaam ibadat ke manaafi aur Rabb ki naaraazgi ka sabab hai. Is baat ko zehan-nasheen kar len.
Itni tamheed main ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radhiallahu Anhuma ke sunehre qaul ka zikr karne ke liye baandhi hai taake baat zehan mein jam jaaye aur log us se sabaq haasil karen. Ibn e mubarak Rahimahullah ne apni kitaab Az-Zuhd War-Raqaai'q mein Ibn e Abbas Radhiallahu Anhuma ka qaul naqal kiya hai, use main sanad aur matn ke saath pesh karta hun:
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَكُونُ هَمُّ أَحَدِهِمْ فِي بَطْنِهِ، وَدِينُهُ هَوَاهُ۔​
Tarjumah: Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radhiallahu Anhuma farmaate hain ke logon par ek aisa zamaana aayega jis mein aadmi ka ahem maqsad pet paalna hoga aur apni khwahish par chalna us ka deen hoga.

Asar ka darja: Yeh asar sanad ke aitebaar sahih hai, is par koi kalaam nahi hai, is ka pehla rawi Sa’eed siqah hai, doosra rawi Bakr sadooq hai aur teesra rawi Safwaan siqah hai aur yeh sanad muttasil bhi hai aur is ke rawi qaabil e aitemaad bhi hain.

Tambeeh: Baaz log is qaul ko Safwaan ki taraf mansoob karte hain, haqeeqat mein yeh Ibn e Abbas Radhiallahu Anhuma ka hai. Baaz log ise Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki taraf mansoob karte hain jo ke bilkul ghalat hai. Yeh asar hai yani Sahabi ka qaul.

Is asar ki tashreeh: Is asar ka pehla tukda "logon par ek aisa zamaana aayega jis mein aadmi ka ahem maqsad pet paalna hoga" aaj ke aksar musalmaan is ke misdaaq hain chaahe padha likha tabqa ho ya na-khwaandah tabqa. Na-khwaandah (jahil, an-padh) tabqa to is liye ke us ke paas shu'oor e zindagi hi nahi magar padhe likhe log Allah se be-khauf, anjaam se be-khabar aur aakhirat ki fikr se ghaflat ke sabab is marz e muhlik (halaak karne waali beemaari) mein mubtila hai.
Aur doosra tukda "Aur apni khwahish par chalna us ka deen hoga" Ahl e bidat o zalaalat se mutalliq hai jinhon ne khwaahishaat ko hi asal deen samajh liya hai, tarah tarah ke rasm o riwaaj, jhoote qisse kahaaniyon aur khudsaakhta (khud ki banaayi hue) baaton ko deen samajh kar anjaam de rahe hain, aur bharpoor is koshish mein hain ke un ke khudsaakhta (khud ke banaaye huwe) gumraah raaste par poori duniya ke log aa jayein. Is ke peeche poori gumraah mansooba bandi aur shaitaani networking kaam kar rahi hai.
Aaj woh zamaane aa gaya jis mein mazkoorah (zikr ki gayi) dono baatein paayi jaati hain, yahan musalmaanon ka deendaar tabqa jo asal deen par qaayim o daaim hai aur duniya talbi, dajl o fareb, bidat o zalaalat se paak, deen ki mohabbat, fikr e aakhirat aur razaa e ilaahi (Allah ki riza) se sarshaar (bhara huwa) hai, us ke sir logon ki islaah ki zimmedaari hai.
Awwalan: Woh samaaj o mu'aashra se duniya ki mohabbat ka marz khatm karne ki juhd e musalsal (musalsal koshish) kare, yeh na mumkin hai ke samaaj se mukammal taur par duniya talbi ka khaatma kar sake magar yeh zaroor mumkin hai ki musalmaanon ke andar aakhirat ki fikr be-daar kar sake, yeh fikr insaanon ki islaah ke liye bahut hadd tak kaafi hai aur hamaari zimmedaari koshish karni hai, taufeeq o sa'aadat Allah ki taraf se hai.
Saaniyan: Deen ke naam par bidat o zalaalat ki nashr o isha'at haqq ki tableegh ke muqaable mein kayi guna ziyadah hai. Ba-shuoor aur sahih ul aqeedah musalmaan ki zimmedaari hai ke Media par apni girift mazboot kare aur us ke zariye bidat ke badhte sailaab ke saamne baand baandhen aur islam ke chole mein chupe bidati logon ki niqaab kushaayi kare.

Allah Taala hamaare andar se buri sifaat ko door kar de aur hamein achchi sifaat ka haamil bana de. Aameen.
